Psychic messages
One of my early spiritual teachers once told me of a former lady friend who’d been to a psychic. He and his lady friend had recently broken up. The psychic told her that she and my teacher were soul mates. This excited her and contacted him to pass on this great news and seek his agreement to re-kindle the relationship.
But it wasn’t to be. My teacher was unwilling to re-enter a relationship based on a psychic message.
It’s important to realize that all messages should be evaluated. Just because a message comes through another person doesn’t mean we should follow the advice without question. In this instance my teacher had decided that the relationship was over and they had learnt what they were meant to learn from the relationship. Obviously his lady friend was devastated.
There are lots of messages in the physical world we ignore because we don’t trust our ability to interpret the message. And yet when someone else gets a message and interprets it we jump in and accept the message as true – often without question.
It’s important to realize that the psychic is only interpreting the message. They have no way of knowing the truth or otherwise of their interpretation. In addition, the source of the message is important. There are lots of entities on the astral plane who take great joy in sending messages to the unsuspecting on the physical plane. They then sit back and watch the outcome of their mischief.
